The Copperbox Arena within London’s Olympic Park hosted an international ‘invitational match-up’ between the Great Britain team and New Zealand’s ‘Tall Blacks’.
A near-capacity crowd of over 5000 watched as the visitors defeated the hosts by 63-84, and once again their enjoyment of the sporting spectacle was enhanced by Pro Audio Systems’ equipment and knowledge. Part of PAS’s inventory of Meyer Sound MJF-210 self-powered wedges were deployed to cover the crowd areas, while Sennheiser 2000-series wireless mics were used by the announcers and everything was controlled from a Yamaha LS-9 digital mixing console. PAS’s sports technology specialist Darryl Thorpe handled mixing duties throughout.
Our grateful thanks to Mansoor Ahmed Photography for the fantastic images.
